about
Living in the heat of your own demise.
I Can't Keep Living This Way is about going through your own self sabotage and trying to overcome the personal struggle. This song went through many iterations and has a very classic instrumentation and is fused together with modern elements. it may sound like it is from the 80's but it may also invoke feelings of the future. The song is about a personal internal battles but the gang vocals are meant to symbolize hope and invites the listener to sing along. I Cant Keep Living This Way was co-written with Canadian singer songwriter Lilianna Wilde. The song also futures saxophonist Alex young.
lyrics
Getting wasted at nights
Is turning into wasting my days
Wish it was somebody else’s fault
But I’m the one to blame
gonna ruin my life
I’m too good at playing that game
Before you get too close (too close)
Ima push you away
And I can’t keep living this way
No I can’t keep living this way
I wanna change
Oh I just wanna change
Too tired to speak
but I've got nothing to say
All of the friends that used to call
moved on to better things
And it’s a downward spiral
My hands are idle
Got no end in sight
I got nowhere to hide
And I’m paralyzed
Paralyzed
All of the time
And I can’t keep living this way
No I can’t keep living this way
I wanna change
Oh I just wanna change
Because because
I can’t keep living this way
No I can’t keep living this way
I wanna change
Oh I just I wanna change
I’m my own sabotage
all of this I’m the cause
I’m my own sabotage
I am the cause
I’m my own sabotage
all of this I’m the cause
I’m my own sabotage
I am the cause
And I can’t keep living this way
No I can’t keep living this way
I wanna change
Oh I just wanna change
Because because
I can’t keep living this way
No I can’t keep living this way
I wanna change
